This is the physical interpretation of its digital predecessor (Fissure, Fluidity, and Conflict).
This model successfully reflects the form of the digital, and the ideas associated with it. The words that drove my hero in the first assignment are carried through my design process in this assignment. The words "fissure, conflict and fluidity" are present in the final physical model. The head portion of the model is constructed out of stacking pieces of acrylic and card making it quite volumetric while the tails portion lacks this volume. The tails portion form and volume is suggested through the inserts with thread through them. The also appear to splitting apart as the start off bunched up and being to get further and further apart as you move away from the head, indicating the word fissure. Fluidity is present in the thread how its flows through the inserts and curves even though the overall shape of each prong is contains straight sections of thread which further enforces the idea of conflict.
